Front-Line Leadership Simulation

The Front-Line Leadership Simulation is designed to support ground-level leadership education programs. The simulation illustrates the pressures and challenges front-line managers face in translating strategic direction into action, working collaboratively across the organization, and managing teams. Front-Line Leadership poses complex day-to-day choices to help participants understand how basic management concepts and tools can improve their effectiveness and overall performance.

The Front-Line Leadership Simulation places participants in the role of a Project Leader responsible for packaging a new product at a fictional cosmetics manufacturing company. Simulation participants, working in teams, address a series of issues that come across the Project Leader’s desk each week over the course of a month leading up to a major tradeshow deadline. These issues include perspectives from a wide range of stakeholders and employees with whom the Project Leader works.
