Alex Lamb

Alex Lamb brings over 20 years of software development and IT experience to Insight Experience. He is an integral member of Insight’s software development team and has been involved in the creation of several business simulations for the company. Alex has special expertise in Java development and user interface design, which he applies to the company’s client projects.

Alex started his career as an Honor Graduate in Artificial Intelligence at Edinburgh University, UK before becoming a business consultant with Arthur Andersen. Over his career, he’s been involved in many facets of the software industry working as a developer, designer, systems architect and freelance consultant. He has worked in research (Fujitsu Labs), finance (Bank of America), advertising (The Real Adventure), insurance (Oxford Health Plans), and large-scale software product development (Citrix Systems).

Alex is passionate about improv theater. He has founded three improv theatre companies and is an internationally-respected teacher and specialist in using improv techniques for leadership skills, business communication and personal empowerment.
