Sales Development Representatives are responsible for strategic outreach to Fortune 1000 companies in their region. This role is a critical part of the sales team; building our understanding of the corporate learning landscape, expanding awareness of Insight Experience in the market, and often being the first point of contact for our clients.

  • Researching and contacting new and existing named major accounts and individuals to source and identify potential clients
  • Engaging future clients and building Insight Experience champions through warm, tailored prospecting efforts
  • Transitioning relationships to in-person meetings for Insight Experience Partners
  • Delivering consistent execution of Insight Experience’s internal sales methodology
  • Managing sales forecasts accurately
  • Maintaining competitive industry knowledge & focus
  • Capturing client and prospect information into CRM
  • In-depth knowledge of Insight Experience’s products and services


  • 2-5 years external experience with proven consultative sales, preferably experience in human capital-based professional services, or technology-enabled services, with evidence of prior success in sales
  • Ability to prospect and manage a wide range of senior level relationships within medium and large organizations
  • Demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships
  • Fluency discussing issues of leadership and business acumen in a corporate setting
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the full sales life cycle process from prospecting to close
  • Bachelors degree, with strong evidence of success in school
