Simulation Modeling and Scenario Development

Insight Experience develops business simulations to parallel the dynamics of specific businesses and industries. Often, we work from our portfolio of existing simulation products and tailor a solution to cost effectively meet a client’s needs.

Our team also has the capability to craft custom design scenario-based experiences to focus on critical cultural or business issues for participant insight, discussion, and learning.

Our Design Process



The Insight Experience Design process has been developed over 20 years. This client focused approach includes multiple design reviews to ensure the voice of the client is properly integrated throughout the process.


Simulated Business Outcomes

Insight Experience’s approach to simulation modeling is to create an “elegantly simple” model with two objectives in mind:
  • The relationships between leadership behavior/decisions and the human, operational and financial performance of a project or business should be represented in the most realistic way.
  • The interpretation and understanding of those relationships are critical to learning, and participants must be able to see the connections and understand them in the program.
Many business simulation models include a simple set of deltas that show improvement or decline based on a decision. It is not possible to model the real complexity of leadership impact with that approach. Insight Experience uses more sophisticated modeling approaches to achieve realistic outcomes. For example:
