The Insight Experience design process has been developed over 20 years. This client-focused approach includes multiple design reviews to ensure that the voice of the client is properly integrated throughout the process.

Simulated Business Outcomes

Insight Experience’s approach to simulation modeling is to create an elegantly simple model with two objectives in mind:

  1. The relationships between leadership behavior/decisions and the human, operational, and financial performance of a project or business should be represented in the most realistic way.
  2. The interpretation and understanding of those relationships are critical to learning, and participants must be able to see the connections and understand them in the program.

  • Many business simulation models include a simple set of deltas that show improvement or decline, based on a decision. It is not possible to model the real complexity of leadership impact with that approach. Insight Experience uses more sophisticated modeling approaches in order to achieve realistic outcomes. Examples are:  

  • -  The interrelationships between metrics.
  • -  The impact of not making decisions.
  • -  The combined impact across decisions.
  • -  The erosion or acceleration of impact over time. 
Simulated Business Outcomes

Through well-designed debrief discussions, our facilitators illustrate the connection between simulation team decisions and their results. Teams also receive both quantitative and qualitative feedback in their reports.
