The Inc. Regionals: Northeast list is a highly selective ranking of private companies based in nine states—Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. It provides a snapshot of the most dynamic segment of the Northeast economy: independent, entrepreneurial businesses. Companies on this year’s list achieved a median growth rate of 100% between 2021 and 2023, collectively adding more than 9,100 jobs and contributing $6.7 billion to the regional economy.
