Insight Experience is thrilled to announce that we have received three coveted 2023 Brandon Hall Group awards that recognize our innovations and accomplishments in leadership development and business simulations. 

The Brandon Hall Groupan independent research and analyst firm, operates the largest and longest running awards program in Human Capital Management. The 2023 HCM Excellence Awards™ recognizes best practices for initiatives in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Sales Performance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the Future of Work.

 

Insight Experience is the proud recipient of the following awards, each in the category of Learning and Development: 

 

  • A 2023 Gold Award for Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program. 

  • A 2023 Silver Award for Best Use of Games or Simulations for Learning.

  • A 2023 Silver Award for Best Learning Program Supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy. 

Award-winning business simulations

Our award-winning Gold entry for Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program is centered on our Amazon Day 1 Director program, an offering designed to engage, align, develop and support Directors across businesses and geographies. The program focuses on the universal challenges of sustaining organizational culture and scaling for growth and has been delivered to more than 2,000 directors worldwide. The program combines perspectives from senior leaders, a custom-developed business simulation with live role-play interactions, and facilitated coaching and dialogue in small groups.

We also won a Silver Award for the same program for Best Use of Games or Simulations for Learning. In partnership with Amazon, Insight Experience custom-developed this business simulation for senior leaders as part of a three-day leadership program designed to reinforce leading at scale, highlight Amazon’s unique leadership culture in practice, and provide a foundation for experience-sharing cross functions, businesses, and geographies. The simulation was built to present real-life scenarios facing the target population; highlight the tensions and trade-offs facing Amazon leaders across all businesses; reinforce Amazon’s culture and Leadership Principles in practice; integrate live role plays with feedback; and create an engaging, robust learning experience with credible business results for the participants. 

 

Award-winning experiential learning

And our award-winning Silver entry for Best Learning Program Supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy is for our Accelerate Program with Convoy. This is a two-day in-person intensive that enables managers to deepen their understanding and application of Convoy’s Manager Expectations. The program brings the Manager Expectations to life through a highly customized business simulation experience, individual and group reflection, and application activities to practice desired manager behaviors in challenging business situations.

Entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and executives based on these criteria: 

 

  • Alignment to their business need and environment. 

  • Program design, functionality, and delivery. 

  • Adoption, integration, user experience, innovation, and creativity. 

  • Overall effectiveness, impact, and measurable benefits. 

Excellence Award winners will continue to be honored at Brandon Hall Group's HCM Excellence Conference, February 13-15, 2023, at the Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida. Select winners also will serve as presenters in breakout sessions, sharing their leading practices during the conference.
