Brandon Hall Group Silver Award seal for Best Advance in Generative AI Solution

Insight Experience is honored to announce that we have received a Silver award in the Best Advance in Generative AI Solution category as part of Brandon Hall Group’s 2025 Excellence in Technology Awards.

This award highlights our development of the AI-Powered Open-Ended Text Evaluator, an enhancement to our business simulation platform that uses generative AI to evaluate open-ended decisions, bringing new levels of consistency, speed, and insight to to learners navigating complex leadership scenarios.

Advancing the Quality and Scalability of Experiential Learning

Open-ended decision-making is one of the most valuable components of a leadership simulation. It reveals how leaders think, communicate, and prioritize. But historically, evaluating these responses has required significant facilitator time and introduced the risk of human inconsistency, especially across teams or multi-facilitator deliveries.

The AI evaluator was built to address these challenges directly. It provides:

  • Rapid evaluation of participant messages in seconds.

  • Rubric-based scoring aligned to each simulation’s learning objectives.

  • Balanced, bias-aware evaluation, designed to reduce variability and ensure equitable feedback across teams.

  • Clear, actionable insights for participants on strengths and improvement areas.

  • More consistent and reliable feedback for learners, regardless of cohort size or delivery format.

  • Detailed rationale for facilitators to support instructional quality and transparency.

  • Greater consistency across programs, cohorts, and delivery teams.

For learners, the evaluator means faster, clearer, and more personalized feedback, helping them understand not just how they performed, but how to improve their leadership communication in real time. These advancements strengthen both the learning experience and the operational scalability of simulation-based training.

A Responsible and Intentional Application of AI

The evaluator reflects Insight Experience’s commitment to integrating AI in ways that enhance human-led learning, not replace it. Participants continue to receive human judgment and context; the AI simply ensures they start from a consistent and equitable foundation. Facilitators remain fully in control of final scoring and messaging. The AI provides a consistent, bias-aware baseline that accelerates the evaluation process while strengthening the reliability of feedback.
